The Cabo Project
On January 1st, 2021, the Cabo Project (a music band and which is also a family) gathered on an open barn at University Settlement in Beacon, NY. It was a cold (but bearable) afternoon and the idea was to take some photos for the upcoming release of an EP. We started the photo session with some photos of Noga (lead voice and guitar) having a floral ornament around her head, like a scarf. This is a selection of the resulting photos. I'm presenting the main group in three different color treatment, the same I gave to the band: "warm and moody", "desaturated contrast" and "Black and White". Here is an Instagram note posted by Noga Cabo, the lead singer: "In July of 2020, we spent two weeks working day and night on the beginnings of The Cabo Project. Setting up a recording space in the living room of “The Farm”(the house at Hudson Valley Distillers in Germantown, NY👀) we went in with zero expectation of what we would create. A couple days in, we unanimously decided that this project would be a vehicle to give voice to the origins of our lineage and our selves. This is the first album of our family collective, and will most likely not be the last. Check out our Guide to step into this world with us".
